ABOUT ME

I'm 34 and live in Aarhus. I'm teaching piano students, conducting choirs and baby music. I like nature, walking, running, swimming as well as sports like badminton and Ultimate. I also like board games, movies, music and art. And of course, I love traveling and meeting new people!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is about exploring this wonderful world we live in, learning to be appreciate what we have, and sharing your happiness with others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a lot of travelers from all over the world. These day's I'm unable to host, but I'm hoping to get the chance to travel and try the couch surfing experience from the traveler's perspective :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting some years ago, and have hosted quite a few people since then. Every time it has been a wonderful experience. Due to my work situation and small home, I'm not able to host anymore, which is a pity, because I really enjoyed it. The best memories from my travels have always been the people I met, even random encounters with locals or other travelers, and inviting travelers from around the world into my home was a chance to meet other cultures when I didn't have the chance to travel.

Interests

Music of course! Literally all kinds, but especially classical music. Animals, especially dogs. Movies and TV shows like Community, Firefly, Sherlock, Dexter and Game of Thrones. Board games like Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne, Dominion etc. Mathematics, science, programming, politics and philosophy. Meditation, psychology and religion/spirituality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Attending the CS Amalfi Summer Camp 2014. So many wonderful people and such fantastic nature! :)
-Experiencing the Histeria ethnofestival in Gracisce, Slovenia 2013.
-Paragliding in Slovakia as a little boy in the 90's.
-Hosting so many nice couch surfers :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Danish, various music instruments, music theory, math, Danish culture and probably a few other things as well. I would like to learn about other cultures, other ways of living your life, and I'm always eager to learn new skills :).
