Overview
About Me
Another Kiwi living in Melbourne. I like to go out dance and party a bit, I don't drink too much but don't mind those who do. I'm working as a food stylist, photography assistant and sometimes at a local wine bar.
Love to have a good laugh and joke around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First time surfing had me in Nichome, the gay district of Tokyo singing 'Love Shack' in a tiny karaoke bar. Since then there's been a whole load of weird, strange, fun and interesting experiences and I'd like to share them with as many weird, strange, fun and interesting people!
Interests
Live music, art, weird performance type stuff, cooking and eating, photography.
I loooooove going out to 'underground' parties/concerts/clubs so if you're not into clubs and parties and dancing until the wee hours of the morning it's probably best to find someone else.
Also Melbourne is an expensive city and to enjoy it you really do need to spend money, $15-30 on a concert(there's sometimes free concerts too), $20-50 on a nice meal, public transport is about $7.50 for the whole day. So please if you're staying with me expect to spend some money on a dinner or ticket to an event.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of rap, I like the variety it has to offer. From Kendrick Lamar to Danny Brown and Blackalicious.
Electronic stuff is good, Nicolaas Jaar is perfect on a lazy Sunday as is some heavier stuff like Jeff Mills to get crazy. House, techno, disco, funk, bass music(or whatever you want to call it) and atmospheric stuff too.
Record labels I like are Other People, Giegling, Innervisions, Soulection, Pampa, Monkeytown, Perlon, Smallville, Ostgut Ton, DIYnamic and a whole bunch more.
Some guitar music too, Television, Modest Mouse, The Strokes etc...
Directors I like are Tarantino, Fincher, the Coen brothers,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking from Paris to Coimbra and sleeping on the side of the motorway just outside of Bordeaux.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've cooked professionally for 8 years, so know a thing or two about that.
Currently I work in the photography realm(assisting, styling....) so if you know about that I'd love to learn more, conversely I know a little about it too and am happy to share my knowledge.
Tell me the last song you listened to.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer a nice home cooked meal and a conversation, happy to take photos for you too.
