About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Discover world and cultures. Show respect to people and nature (because we must protect this precious heritage). Share some passion I have and learn from others...
ABOUT ME
I am rather a calm and cool person. I lived/worked in several places and always learned from people or cultures (France of course : Paris, Rennes, Corsica but also in Guinea Equatorial for french embassy, or in Egypt or in Caribbean sea as diving instructor). Some years ago I was working in India as IT Specialist (project manager of Textile software editor). But my first studies was chemistry, biology and oceanography so I like to keep my mind open (for professional and personal cases too). Nowadays, I'm living in France (Brittany) and work as IT Specialist and Free diving Instructor.
Important : I am always of a good mood. Specially if I discover a new place and new culture/people.
PHILOSOPHY
Recently I heard a song from Terra Naomi (a singer artist). The title is : Say it's possible!
Well... I personally think we should not put ourselves some limits. I hate hearing someone telling "If only I could..". Just DO IT. Or If you really want to, at least TRY IT!
You did not succeed ? Ok. But you tried and you learned a lot from that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I made my best to host many cool CS when I was living in India. (and I had many) It was really great and I enjoyed a lot !!! So far, I didn't get any bad experience. And I usually explain what CS is all around me.
I also explain what CS is NOT : a cheap hostel alternative or a dating site. (some people come to this site with wrong ideas)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All my couchsurfing experiences were really really nice. CS rocks!
I remember a CS who came for few days and stayed 3 weeks!
Interests
Well, I would say diving, free diving, science. I'm also a sort of geek. And I like to be a citizen of the world and be aware of politic things (like to read courrierinternational.com for an example)

Music, Movies, and Books
When I was young (10) I red Tolkien's books : The simarillon, the Lord of the Ring... It was awesome ! After that I practise role playing games and had so much fun with friends to !
I like SF or adventure books. Sometimes I read philosophical or poems books too (recently Tagore indian poems) but it is less common.
Music : Well I don't have a strong music culture. I like old french/Belgium singer (Brassens, Brel,...) and really enjoy new ones (Tryo, Benabar...). These guys have something to say in their songs and it is quite different from stupid "songs" you can listen most of the time...
Years ago, a friend of mine make me discover a new french/english artist : Emily Loiseau. She is really talented !
Regarding movies, when I am really tired, I watch stupid US movies with no scenario like but most of the time, I prefer movies a bit weird or which tell a interesting storie. The last movies I saw and appreciate : United States of Leland (I forget the others...).
I don't like TV and do have it in my home...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life is amazing. Just have a look on biology book explaining how cells live... It is so complicated and finally it works! (it is the same for India :-)
May be a dive I made in Guinea Equatorial where I meet an giant fish (2 meters and ~100 Kg) and this fish was not shy (even if it never saw any diver) so I was able to play with it for 45 minutes.
Or may be a time I fight for my life with a fish. (that I finally eat :-D )
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I could learn more from you but if you insist... :-)
I can teach you how to swim like a dolphin, hold your breathe and disappear in the blue... (or just relax, feel your body and hold your breath for 3 minutes, in a sofa if the ocean is not around ;-).
I can show you few things about massage but, unfortunately, one prefer when I give a massage rather than giving to me ;-) I have been to Bangkok to learn more and definitely need to return to improve my skills.
I can teach you Linux and his philosophy because I am an Open Source Software advocate too. But this is another story.
And I can tell you a lot of Indian anecdotes, because it is an awesome country with lost of contradictions but a so exciting place!
Countries I’ve Lived In
Equatorial Guinea, France, India
