I am an introverted extrovert. Well I have times where I am outgoing and extroverted and others where I am rather shy and busy with myself.
Also I am a science guy who usually ponders carefully what I say. Alcohol might change that :P
I sympathise with left-wing political movements and am happy to debate over a variety of topics.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My participating consists of giving and taking. I think in our globalized world with a lot of pressure from economical depressions and all the chances that we're supposed to take, forcing every one to 'optimize' one's vita, it is very healthy and nice to catch up with people and be nice to one another ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was hitchhiking thru poland, latvia, lithuania and estonia with my now very good friend Liliana, whom I met thru CS first time. Since then a few more things... hosted a few times and surfed a few couches in many places...

...for example music like belle & sebastian, the knife, portishead, massive attack and of course oldies like queen, pink floyd but also stuff like modern mainstream hip-hop =)

...for example books like a short history of tractors in ukrainian, the count of monte christo, carlo manzoni thrillers. I can relate to the political views of Noam Chomsky.

Living in my 30 year old car in NZ
Diving on cook islands was pretty awesome (I love the Pacific Islands!)
Swimming with a dolphin involuntarily in Australia (or was it a shark?! I will never know... :-/ )
Travelled on the Trans-Siberian thru China, Mongolia and Russia... pretty nice trip!
