ABOUT ME
We are a freshly married French couple with a deep fondness for traveling, discovering new places and meeting new people. Lucille just finished her studies in English Literature & Civilization and is going to teach French in a high school next year. I sing and play the saxophone in a free jazz/punk band - and work as a bar manager on the side.
We are based in Manchester, England. We both share a long-lasting love for the English language and the culture that goes along with it. We are fascinated by its diversity of accents, dialects and idiosyncrasies.
I suppose we could be described as quiet and discreet. We are just two French people who are very much in love!
PHILOSOPHY
" 'If I can have my can have my cigar when I want it,' said François, 'I can live' "
-Charles Bukowski
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have no available couch at the moment - busy house share complete with two cats - but we would be delighted to show you the parts of Manchester we love & the local music scene...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A couple of weeks in Berlin during which I met some lovely people. Lucille and I also spent a bit of time in Derry, Ireland - another delightful CouchSurfing experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Having a chat with Johnny Winter in his trailer after a gig - and not being able to understand a single word he said because of his thick, rich Texas accent...
Teach, Learn, Share
We can teach you a bit of French if you would like. I can also teach you how to impersonate the sound of a leaking sink with your cheek. No joke.
