About Me

My mission is to make sustainable living easy and culturally significant. I love being outdoors. I'm a tech nerd and designer as a career. I have interests in neuroscience and gender studies and spend too much time online arguing with a level head about social justice. I go mountain biking and climbing as often as I can and I can be a little bit of an adrenaline junkie. I've traveled all my life. I'm half dutch with dutch citizenship and go the the Netherlands every few years. I biked around the perimeter of the netherlands winter of 2013/14. I've spent a total of around 2.5 years of my life in Calella De Palafrugell, a fishing village up the cost from Barcelona. My Spanish and Catalan are terrible in spite of this. I also lived in an artisans shop in Antigua, Guatemala for 6 weeks. I spent 4 months bikinf from Mongolia to Thailand 🚵‍♀️. I play guitar, Unicycle, and do back flips(unfortunately, not all at once... yet). Philosophy: I'm a child. There are a thousand reasons to be sad and a thousand reasons to be angry. There are just as many reasons to be happy. I want to recognize sadness and the madness, but I will chose to be happy all the while. My life is always enjoyable on some level. I'm also incredibly fortunate so it's hard to preach this happy philosophy to anyone who has suffered. I live for understanding. Everyone is doing this life thing for the first time and no one is ever an expert.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cook. I clean (I love cleaning dishes). I build things as my major so if you need something fixed and we can find the tools I am happy to help. I can also make websites.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I biked from Mongolia to Bangkok and found hospitable and wonderful people all along the way through couch surfing. Some of these people will be my close friends for a long time to come.
