One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i attended a student exchange program and lived 5 months in istanbul. this was the best time of my life. i meet so many nice people from all over the world and some of them became close friends to me. i went to the country of my parents that i only knew from holidays but since that time istanbul became a second hometown.

I lived for 8 months in Nepal/Bhaktapur and voluntered as a German language teacher. It was for sure one of the most challenging countries I lived so far. But people are very friendly compared to Europeans and willing to share their home and food with you. I did two treks in Nepal (part of Annapurna and Langtang Valley) and was surprised that I actually love hiking.

I travelled 6 months through India. Still one of my favourite countries although its not easy to travel there alone as a woman. But so far I only had good experiences and I love the diverse culture, languages and nature.
