Here are some of my recomendations to do in Puebla, you cannot do much in one day. I think two days at least you have to consider.(Thanks to jazmin Flores the owner of this one)
The places you have to visit
-Zócalo
-El Parián
-El barrio del artista
-El callejón de los Sapos
-El mercado de sabores
-Los Fuertes de loreto y guadalupe
You have to eat:
-Chalupas at El Parian
-Mole poblano
-Cemitas at El Carmen
-Tacos placeros
-Molotes
-Churros
-Chanclas
-Tacos árabes & al pastor.
-Elotes and esquites. Tostiesquites if you feeling risky.
-Chilaquiles
-Flautas
-Torta de tamal
-Sushi (just keeding)
I also know good veggie places and meals 🌱☺️
And drink:
-Mezcal
-Pulque
-Chocolate Oaxaca
-Manzanita Zacatlán
Puebla is a Colonial city with a lot of history, there are many museums in the city but I think these are the best:
-Museo Amparo ($40 and free on monday(totally worth it))
-Muse Internacional del Barroco ($50)
-Museo José Luis Bello y Zetina (free)
-Capilla de arte de la UDLA (free)
-Museo del tecnológico de Monterrey (free)
-Galería de arte del Palacio Municipal (free sometimes)
-Museo del ferrocarril
-Museo de las artesanías (free)
-Museo regional de Puebla ($40)
Little cozy coffee shops:
-Zaranda café (puebla)
-Libros & Libros (library and good coffee) (puebla
-Casa nueve (cholula)
If you want to visit parks and walking or outdoor activity:
-Parque Metropolitano
-Parque de Los fuertes de Loreto y Guadalupe (giant and beautiful with a view)
-Parque del niño poblano
-Parque Ecológico
If you are in party mood Puebla is not your best option. Cholula is where all the bars, clubs and pubs are:
-Licorería San pedrito (mexican pulque, all the flavors you can imagine)
-Jazzatlan (Live jazz music club)
-Container city (clubs, bars, etc)
-El diablito (mezcal)
Restaurants (non traditional)
-Cus cus (nice restaurant and coctails)
-Ocho30 (super cool and delicious restaurant)
-La berenjena (pizza)
-Karma bagels
-Mostovoi (European bread)
