About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi!
I'm Seda. I am living in Aarhus, Denmark but was born in Antalya known as south part of Turkey. I am interested in analogue photography and trying to catch beautiful moments during traveling. Well, let's say ı am memory collector. At the same time, because of my hometown's historical position i am also very interested in archeological places. I like to learn about new cultures with natives more than books, movies, etc. Experience, live, talk with them always make me feel better.

PHILOSOPHY

If you can dream about something, you have power to make it real.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know that there are a lot of people in the world who shares the same passion with me about living, travel and feel. While i am travelling or show somebody around i want to feel those amazing feelings together!

Interests

Analogue photography, archeology, art and nature. Apart from those, i am enjoying while exploring new cultures, meeting new people. And also walking for hours with my Ipod. There is nothing more than beautiful learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like techno, electronic, chill-out sets and festivals but beside that , i like to listen Youth Lagoon and which takes me far away, Buena Vista Social Club which reminds me sunset and smell of sea. And Jose Gonzales, Alt-J, Noel Gallagher, Sixto Rodriguez, The Boxer Rebellion, Tame Impala, Thievery Corporation,Neil Young are another favourite bands and musicians for me! I am also really into Nordic music especially from Iceland as i have a dream about living in Iceland for a while. So, Sigur Ros, Low Roar, Kaleo are my favorite ones.

I really like Essais from Montaigne. But the thing is after reading a book i am taking some notes on my notebook and this notebook is my favourite book with different sentences from different books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe it is not that amazing for others but i travelled just by myself around Central Europe while it was Christmas and it was an amazing experience to explore with my analogue cameras everything around.

This summer, i spent 6 weeks in Marrakesh/ Morocco as a business trainer and yeah, i kind of lived in there. To survive under 50 degree and explore completely different culture was life changing experience for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Turkish ( i don't think that i am a good teacher tho :P) and some Turkish traditions such as Turkish coffee and share my stupid 'future teller' talents after drinking the coffee. ( C'mon i also don't believe it but it's god damn fun! )

When i travel, i don't like to feel like a tourist, i am trying to spend my time with locals and explore the details of the city with recommendations instead of just going museums, famous sights, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my passion about cultural communication, my hobbies and other stuff which make me 'myself'. We can go photo walking together with my analog babies and i can teach some little tech. about it. I can share my trust and love and positiveness.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia

Countries I’ve Lived In
