About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy the lightness of being.
ABOUT ME
I was living a nice and easy life back in Buenos Aires. My career was on track, I was living by myself... everything was ok but it seemed like there was something missing.
I hadn't traveled much till that point and my expectations about living abroad had almost vanished, until one autumn afternoon during breaktime (I was taking german classes at the time) a classmate told me about her experience living in New Zealand. And that started it all.
First, I headed to beautiful Aotearoa, where I lived for a year, and from where I was able to explore amazing Asia (First trip included SEA, HK and Macau). Then I had the pleasure of living in wonderful Australia, where I stayed for a year and a half. Next chapter was in Taiwan, where I stayed for six unforgettable months, went back to Oz and finally went back to Buenos Aires, just to get ready for my next trip.
In 2018 I was granted a scholarship to study Mandarin in Taiwan, where I stayed for a year and a half.
After that awesome experience I flew to Spain, where I could finally visit my grandparents town.
Now Im back in BA, looking forward to meet travelers.
I love backpacking, city exploring, documentaries, sports (football, running, hiking, etc) and specially, helping people, so, that's why I joined CS. Hope to see you around!
PHILOSOPHY
Open minded
Taking Couchsurfing spirit as a personal way of being.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When in Buenos Aires, I help CSers who were willing to know the city, its people, our culture.
While travelling, I try to make people know about Couchsurfing, so I spread the word...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A friend of mine told me about his experience couchsurfing around Europe and that was it, I knew I had to be a part of it.
Hope one day to be able to host fellow couchsurfers (I definitely will as soon as I'm back to Argentina)
Interests
People
And I really enjoy reading a good book (I'm reading 万延元年のフットボール - The Silent Cry by Kenzaburō Ōe, at the moment) and hope to write one myself someday, practicing any kind of sport; since I´ve lived a nomadic life for quite a while, anything related to alternative ways of life, enviromental sustentability, etc. and I´ve been watching a lot of Asian films lately (If you are in Sydney, do not miss the Korean film night on Thursdays, organized by the Korean Culture Center).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The very idea of being hosted by someone, at his/her home... amazing.
Been hosted four times now. :) :) :) :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe that learning someone else's language means to open the gates to an entire culture, to a world to be discovered.
Creo que aprender el idioma del otro significa abrir las puertas a un nueva cultura, a un mundo por ser descubierto.
I would love to speak Mandarin (doing my best right now)
Willing to share my world if you are willing to share yours too :p
