About Me

Always keeping curious of this world.
Breathing in the different vibes and sounds of the unknown is always something exciting.
Basically, I love everything that makes me think in a different perspective, where it can be anything from music, books, movies, traveling, friends - the list goes on.
I just started working in Seoul after graduation, and my urge to travel just seems to have expanded to another level; and meeting the people across the trip makes the memories ever so special.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The more you travel, the less the place itself seems to have a special meaning.
Instead, it is the people who you meet on the journey that makes the trip unforgettable.
I can't say I have traveled the world, but I can remember most friends and hosts that I met during trips.
Thanks to couchsurfing, I was actually never really alone, and in someway I felt like home where ever I was.

Interests

Books. novels, poetry, econ, sociology, tech, and so on
Cooking. More like Korean food, less baking and such
Nature. Hiking, swimming, strolling around, pilates, almost everything except for a few ball sports
Music. Electro, Jazz, EDM,
Technology. This might be a bit random, but working in the tech industry, it kinda comes along haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking Annapurna in Nepal!
On the way heading to the basecamp in 4130m, many times did I want to give up. But the marvel you witness at the top of the world, the stars the wind, and the people- you just can never forget.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It is ironical I understand my culture better after experiencing different cultures. Thanks to my international experiences, I am at the core, a very Korean but at the same time an international person. At all my past couchsurfing experiences, I was able to present a national dish to the hosts. I really enjoyed talking with them about various topics- hobby, K-pop, K-dramas, and even religion and politics! I still remember watching Ponyo with my host :)
