ABOUT ME

I grew up in the South, but went to undergrad in NYC. Spent two years in the Philippines serving in the Peace Corps as an education volunteer. After some travels and working in NYC for a year, I'm now in Pittsburgh pursuing my grad degree at Carnegie Mellon University.

PHILOSOPHY

Love God, love people. Live with no regrets. Be in the moment (that one's tough though, I'm working on that one all the time).

兴趣

I love meeting new people, sharing experiences with friends, travel (of course), photography, good design, sustainability, beaches and mountains - surfing and snowboarding (at least attempting to), funny movies, cooking, cupcakes, chocolate, and cocktails, Japanese and Thai food, yoga, music I can rock out to or that has a tribal feel to it, dancing, definitely into dancing...

Almost everything except horror movies and country music. I read a lot, kinda a dork like that.

Top of my head... watching the sun rise over sand dunes in Namibia, swimming with whale sharks in the Philippines, and eating food in Taiwan (seriously, everything is so good).

I'm not so good at languages, but I do like to learn. Right now, really want to learn some Japanese and Spanish for my Peace Boat voyage. I can teach you some survival Mandarin Chinese, give good advice on whatever project you're working on, and in a month perhaps teach you how to give a Thai massage.
