HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From time to time I host people when I'm in Berlin, show people around and give hints where the city is very nice and interesting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only had the best experiences with couchsurfing so far. I met so many interesting and openminded people, it feels just great. Not only surfing couches or hosting, but having someone to get a beer or a coffee in a place you just arrived at is a great experience. You almost immediately feel home somehow no matter where you are. Just make sure you find a couchsurfer there.

Yes, I do love movies, music and books. I love jazz and blues music, but also soul, rock, reggae and dub, electronic musiv, rap - everything special and made with soul. I´m a book worm as we say in german, I read everything with letters, newspapers, novels, blogs...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In 2008, I lent 50 Euros to a guy on the street whom I didn't know. He said he needed it urgently because of a car breakdown and will give it back to me in the evening. I trusted him because I liked the idea. He didn't show at our appointment and I didn't get my money back... At least not that day.

Since then I found money (bills, not coins) on the street three times. That never happened to me before. First, I found 35 Euros, then ten, then five. That's 50 bucks! So finally I got my money back - now I'm waiting for my interest :)

edit April 2010: Got it! Found 10 US$ on the street a few weeks ago.
