ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Joseph (or Seffy), I am a freelance Cinematographer and filmmaker.. I mostly work as a freelance shooting commercials and ads and TV spots etc. I was born in Israel in a KIBBUTZ (if you don’t know what it is so google it) but lucky enough to live in several countries (London, Berlin & NewYork. Living abroad is an enriching experience because it forces you to adapt to things that are unfamiliar and unusual to you. You become independent and open to new, exciting, or terrifying challenges that you would never have encountered in your home country. That's why I love living abroad!

I have an intense passion for cinema, future, culture, art, philosophy, psychology and design. I travel, write, read, observe, and create surreal visuals with my camera. My intense desire to know, to explore beyond the bounds of rational thought; this is what defines me.

I do like things that scare me; I absorb the warehouse that is the world. Whether it be through attempting aerial yoga, learning how to chart blackbody radiation using astronomical software, or dancing in front of hundreds of people, I am compelled to try any activity that interests me in the slightest.

We are culturally trained to not interact with strangers. But if you let go of the xenophobia, and learn to trust and talk, a whole new world opens up while you travel. I think meeting new people and exchanging ideas is one of the most powerful ways to broaden your perspective.

I like reading about physics, cosmology, philosophy, and psychology. I also like playing games and mind games and listening to people (when they’re interesting,-).

My desire is to explore new things in life. I enjoy visiting new places, meeting new people, learn about new culture and experience different lifestyle.
