ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Guatemala until I was 11 years old, at which time I ended up moving to Houston TX. I lived there for 13 years until 2010 when I decided to move to Austin TX.

I've found that I love Austin differently than I love Houston, both great places to live and have crazy adventures... but Austin has quite a way to draw you away from all the madness that a big city can put you in, it can liberate you the way other places can't, but only if you let it. The city is full of events and gatherings going on almost every weekend which makes it easy to fall in love with it.

I like to think of myself as an open minded, well rounded individual. Because I used to work for a French company I have had the pleasure to make friends from all over the world.

I am currently pursuing a degree in nursing. My goal is simple, to change someone's life in a positive way.

PHILOSOPHY

As C.S. Lewis once said... Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art... It has no survival value; rather it gives value to survival.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Due to the interesting individuals that I used to live with, I had the privilege to host their friends. Every time it's a different and great experience.

兴趣

I like all sorts of things. I like comic books, Anime, rock, techno, rap, hip-hop. I like playing sports more than I like watching them. Soccer, for me, trumps any other sport that's out there. However, a nice volleyball game is great too.

I don't really read that much except for graphic novels and comic books. Movies and music... I'm into anything... even country music.
