Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Seiki from Japan. I’m a master’s student in electrical engineering, currently living in Stuttgart, Germany as an exchange student.
I’d describe myself as a relaxed, easygoing person who enjoys deep conversations as much as quiet moments. Stuttgart is a beautiful city with lots of hills and greenery—perfect for running and exploring.
I’m curious about different cultures and always eager to try something new. That’s what brought me to Couchsurfing: not just to visit places, but to connect with people and share experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven’t had the chance to travel abroad much yet, so I’m looking forward to seeing the world through local eyes. I want to meet people from different backgrounds and have real cultural exchanges.
Interests
•Running & Marathons – I’ve been a long-distance runner for years. It’s both a challenge and a way for me to clear my mind.
•Cycling – I enjoy riding through nature or exploring cities on two wheels.
•Cooking – I cook almost every day. Japanese food is my base, but I’ve recently been into Italian dishes like carbonara and tiramisu.
•Beer & Local Drinks – I like trying local beers and learning how different cultures enjoy food and drinks.
•Cultural Exchange – I love learning about different customs, languages, and everyday life around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy listening to J-POP and K-POP—Stray Kids is one of my favorite groups. Their energy always gives me motivation when I go for a run or study. I’m also curious to discover local music and movies from the places I visit!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my proudest achievements is running a full marathon in 2:28:51. It took months of training, and crossing that finish line was unforgettable!
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m studying antenna engineering, so I’m always happy to talk about science and tech—but I’m also interested in learning anything, from languages to local cooking tips!
I can teach you some basic Japanese, tell you about Japanese culture, food, or recommend places to visit in Japan.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking and do it almost every day. I usually make Japanese dishes, but recently I’ve been trying Italian recipes like carbonara and tiramisu too!
I’d love to cook something for you, share a drink, go running together, or simply enjoy a relaxed chat about life in Japan or your country.
