About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make this year the most amazing time of my life!

ABOUT ME

Optimistic, easygoing and friendly guy, who tries to make his life worthwhile. Always looking for a chance to meet new people and make more friends.

PHILOSOPHY

"When you open your heart and express feelings, you melt opposition."

"The things you own end up owning you. "

"I used to believe in forever, but forever's too good to be true."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I share my CS experience with other people and encourage them to take part in this great program. I also think that CS meetings is one of the greatest things ever invented by the mankind. Period.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been sharing my coach with many people so far, and used people's kindness a few time myself. I used to be active in a CS community in my hometown, but since I live abroad I don't have so many chances anymore.

Interests

My interests are pretty work-related:

I develop video games for current generation consoles and PC. Being a designer is fun because you have to figure out different stuff everyday and you're never bored.

In my research, I'm aiming to oppose the vision from "Terminator" movies and create friendly, moral, human-oriented thinking machines with a main purpose to serve the mankind.

I'm really into learning foreign languages and traveling. It's difficult to keep me in one place for too long, because when the spring comes I'm ready for another adventure :)

Deep in my heart, I've always been a journalist, and I often look at the surrounding world with the eyes of the reporter. I like to discover things, and share it with other people. Sometimes I tend to be nosy, but hard to restrain this empowering curiosity ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Japanese music for many years, mostly because I find this language pronunciation really catchy.

My favorite bands are mostly rock formations with a good vocal and guitars. I love old rock from 80's, 90' and some of the POP singers as well, such as Utada Hikaru, Michael Jackson or Phil Collins.

I have one favorite movie for many years, and this place is always occupied by the Fight Club. This movie changed my life :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Tokyo's Shibuya Crossing at night: Seeing the beating heart of the city, with hundreds of people passing by.

- The sunset over Lake Michingan in Chicago, reflected by the city's skyscrapers, and shining straight on my face.

- Getting face by face with Aligator in Florida. Fortunately, he didn't have a taste for Polish meat.

- Having gun pushed against my head in Afro-american district i wasn't supposed to be. Never been so scared in my life, and I guess my sense of humor saved my life.

- My first concert in France. Small city on the west coast of the country. Middle of the summer. Everyone's clapping hands. We kept playing, even though it started raining.

Teach, Learn, Share

- Video games are selling well! I can teach you how to become a game designer and get rich/famous in no time :)

- English language. I will learn you some eastern American slang words which can not be found in the textbooks :)

- If u ever dreamed of becoming a journalist I will tell you how to become a professional paparazzi without getting caught :) :)

- Maybe you would like to learn how to play the trombone? We can arrange that :)
