I'm a funny mix between chilled and actually nervouse. I'm relaxed and laid back for most things but at the same time I'm extremelly active can't stand not doing something be it walking, reading, talking always on the go... as we say in Spain "sin prisa pero sin pausa" (no hurry but no stopping).
I'm a big fan of joking and sarcasm absolutly love stand ups and people that can give and take funny/offensive remarkings and comments.

I enjoy getting to know new people, its always refreshing to get to know unexpected points of view even if I don't agree at all. I'm always up for an argument even if it's just for the sake of it.

I'm really responsable and quite clean but I dont really mind the mess. Actually, mess seems to like me cause I am an absolute failure at keeping things tidy... I've end up accepting that my personallity does not match a tidy atmosphere xD. Now, I'll always make a good efford whenever I'm sharing a space with someone else.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got into coachsurfing to get the chance to meet new people, mainly though hosting. Of course it's also an interesting option when travelling around.
Haven't been able to host people for a long time now but still enjoy the events and activities that are organized thought it.

Interests

My interests are divided in two fields: when I'm indoors and when I'm outdoors.

Outdoors:
Nature! Love being out and about bad weather doesn't put my off I actually enjoy it! Passonate about nature conservation I'm always excited with the opportunity to get to know new places and wildlife!
Decent birdwatcher and slowly getting dragged into other fields like trees, flowers and particularly invertebrates (all kind of creepy crawlies).

Indoors:
Reading and coocking are my other two big passions, I'm always reading a book and I'll start a new one as soon as a finish, pretty much as important to me as eating and sleeping.
Love food, love eating and love coocking! I pretty much take an inmediate liking to anyone who offers, shows or shares food with me! And I'm always happy to share and teach whatever I might know in return!
Just recently rediscovered the pleasure of playing chess and slowly getting into the habit after more than 10 years of not playing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, wide repertorie of tastes I probably like a bit of everything but I'm a huge fan of La pegatina! Spanish group of music and big representants of the party and feel good kind of music, just can't get enought of it!

Favorite movie... The end of the world! seen it many times and stiil laughting like the first time!

Books... impossible to choose one I'll read anything that falls into my hands but if I had to choose one it would be The shadow of the wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon! Also, huge fan of Stephen King and currently on a mission to read ablolutly every book this man has written which is no easy task xD

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working for nature conservation, being outdoors be it sunny or rainny and knowing your work is making a difference.During the last couple of years I've been in many amazing places and seen stunning wildlife events... from a lonely osprey fishing to a flock of thousands of waders and wildfowl flying away at the arrival of a peregrine falcon!

Teach, Learn, Share

I especially enjoy sharing cooking recepies, and I'm always willing to learn how to cook something new!!!
Coming from a small island in the middle of the Mediterranean I'm always happy to spread the word about the wonders of Menorca!
Pretty much ready to learn anything about anyone... I'm open to pretty much anything which doesn't mean I agree with it all but you know... would be boring if we all just agreed. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good meal, a glass of beer and some laughts.

The area around my house is really nice so I'm always willing to have a walk and show it to any guest. (right now I'm literally living inside a country park which makes it easy)
