Overview
About Me
In my 27 i have already worked as journalist, schoolteacher of geography, tutor of maths, land-surveyor on Russian Far North (yes, i have seen the Polar Day), writer of travel guides (to Azerbaijan and Vladivostok - i strongly reccommend to visit them), sociologist. I am master of geography (Moscow State University). My last job is analyst in Vnukovo International Airport. Now i'm studying at Hannover Leibniz University in Germany.
Also i have visited 52 fully recognized countries, some partially or unrecognized countries (Kosovo, Southern Ossetia, Transnistria, etc.) and more than 50 Russian regions (incl. Chechnya).
My main purpose is... to find myself, let's speak honestly. The second purpose is visiting of as big amount of places as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
All relevant reasons were detailed by millions of CS-users, so it remains for me only to join their words.
CSers (both hosts and guests) are often very open-minded and internally free persons so it's important to learn this from them.
I hope that as a host can give comfort and experience to my guests.
Interests
Chess, travelling, collection of maps (more than 900 specimens), Orthodox Christianity, synth pop (especially Kraftwerk, Yellow Magic Orchestra and Zodiaks), Russian History. My favourite regions to travel are all countries of former USSR and former Yugoslavia.
