My name is Selçuk, and I am thrilled to welcome you to my Couchsurfing profile! As a software engineer by profession, I spend most of my days behind a computer screen, but my true passion lies in exploring the world and meeting new people.

I have always been a music enthusiast and started to develop my skills as a DJ a few years ago. Mixing different genres of techno to create unique and captivating sounds has become a creative outlet for me. I love nothing more than creating the perfect atmosphere for people to dance and enjoy themselves.

When I'm not behind the decks, I can be found hiking through beautiful landscapes, exploring new cultures, and discovering new culinary experiences. I believe that traveling is the best way to broaden our horizons, and Couchsurfing is the best place to found these opportunities to do so.

In addition to my career as a software engineer and passion for music, I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Engineering. As technology continues to evolve and shape our world, I am committed to staying at the forefront of these advancements. My studies have allowed me to delve deeper into the intricacies of software and hardware systems, and I am constantly seeking new ways to apply my knowledge to real-world problems.

As a Couchsurfing host or guest, I am always happy to share my expertise in technology and answer any questions you may have about this ever-changing field. Whether we're discussing the latest gadgets or debating the ethics of artificial intelligence, I am always eager to engage in intellectually stimulating conversations.

Also I am also proud to serve as a board member of The Youth Center, a Traditional Folk Dance group. As a lover of music and dance, I believe that preserving and sharing cultural traditions is of utmost importance. The Youth Center provides a platform for young people to learn and perform traditional folk dances from all over the world, from intricate footwork to vibrant costumes.

As a board member, I am responsible for helping to plan and organize performances, fundraising events, and other activities that promote the cultural exchange of dance. It is a fulfilling role that allows me to share my passion for the arts with others, while also learning about new cultures and traditions.

Through my involvement with The Youth Center, I have gained a deeper appreciation for the power of music and dance to connect people across borders and bridge cultural divides. I am excited to continue supporting this important organization and inspiring others to embrace the rich diversity of our world.

In addition to my professional and cultural pursuits, I also have a few hobbies that I love to indulge in when I have some free time.

One of my favorite pastimes is watching movies and TV series. I have a particular fondness for science fiction and fantasy. From epic space operas to mythical sagas, these genres transport me to imaginative worlds filled with adventure and wonder.

Another hobby of mine is playing video games. As a software engineer, I appreciate the artistry and technical prowess that goes into creating immersive gaming experiences. From classic console games to cutting-edge virtual reality, I love exploring new worlds and conquering new challenges.

Of course, I also enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, and exploring nature. Whether I'm in the mountains, the desert, or the ocean, I find that being in nature rejuvenates my spirit and brings me closer to the beauty of the world around us.

As a devoted Potterhead, I am a huge fan of The Wizarding World. Whether I am discussing the merits of a particular Hogwarts House, speculating about the latest fan theories, I am always happy to connect with fellow Potterheads. As a Couchsurfer, I am eager to share my love of all things HP and engage in spirited conversations about this beloved franchise.

As a DJ, my taste in music is eclectic and varied. I appreciate a wide range of genres, from electronic and hip-hop to rock and world music. However, I had to choose a favorite to pursue my career so ı choose techno :)

One amazing thing I had the opportunity to experience was a visit to the Warner Bros. Studios, the Making of Harry Potter. As a die-hard Potterhead, it was a dream come true to step into the actual sets and see the behind-the-scenes magic that went into bringing the beloved books to life on the big screen.

During the tour, I was able to explore iconic locations like the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, and Platform 9 ¾, as well as see costumes, props, and special effects up close. It was incredible to witness the level of detail and craftsmanship that went into every aspect of the production, from the intricate designs of the wands to the painstakingly crafted animatronics of the creatures.

What made the experience even more special was being able to share it with other Potterheads from all over the world. We bonded over our shared love of the franchise and geeked out over every little detail we discovered.

Overall, visiting the Warner Bros. Studios, the Making of Harry Potter was an unforgettable experience that I will always cherish. It was a reminder of the power of storytelling and the enduring magic of the Wizarding World.

As a software engineer and a DJ, I have had the opportunity to both teach and learn from others in a variety of contexts, and I believe that sharing knowledge and expertise is essential for personal and collective growth.
