I am a very sportive and adventureous peson who lives in Ghent, Belgium. I am very occupied with my company , which is active in the green energy market. The time that is left I spend to my three big passions - cycling, flying and traveling.

I am a very social person and really enjoy meeting and talking with other persons (especially from other cultures). There is nothing better than drinking a Belgian beer together at a camp fire. I am more than open to welcome guests in our apartment and also hope to joy some peoples houmes on one of my trips.

Intereses

My biggest passions are cycling, flying and traveling.

I did a lot of cycling as a child, but it became more serious once my parents started (when I wass about 15 years old) going each year to Alpe d'Huez in France. By seeing for the first time the Tour de France and by climbing the hills for the first time it became a big passion. I did some years of competition and now I really try to get on my bike as much as possible and restarted doing competition. I do as well road cycling as mountainbiking.

My other passion - traveling - isn't always easy to combine it with my work as a business owner. The passion became bigger and bigger by visiting countries as Cuba and Thailand with a backpack, which is my prefered way of traveling. My biggest trip I did till now is a 5 month trip from Mexico City to San Jose (through Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica).

In 2022 I earned my pilot license. As a child I was crazy about airplanes, especially after watching the movie Top Gun. It is a dream coming true for me. The goal is to start traveling around with a plane and be able to do that as a pilot.

Música, películas y libros

"Into the wild" is one of my favourite books and movies. It inspired me to go traveling and to look for new advenures.

I am very open to a lot of music, but my most favourite bands are The Kings of Leon, Muse, The Editors, Artic Monkeys...
Every year I try to go to some music festivals with friends to enjoy the music and the people on the camping!
