About Me
Current (May 2021): I recently finished my Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering at UMass Amherst and am now moving to Utah to pursue more school (lol). I am a huge rock climber and outdoorsy person so I am always up for an adventure. At the end of May, I am planning on doing a roadtrip with my sister Rosana so I am looking to meet up with all sorts of people (We're both Vaxed!!). Honestly looking to see anything or everything, nothing is hardcore planned and we're just planning to go with the flow.
(Past) I'm a big foodie and a big eater. There's always more room food. Don't be afraid go drop a message and say hi! I love meeting new people and awkwardly interacting with them 😂😂😂. I am currently in University studying Mechanical engineering and Applied Mathematics and people are always surprised with how I am able to travel with such a heavy load. To be honest I love doing many things at once and doing nothing at all. Having a wide variety of tasks to do, keeps things interesting and prevents me from burning out. Besides the busy life, one of my favorite things I have done was sitting at multiple cafe stands in Vietnam during noontime when all the locals took breaks from the harsh sun to just people watch. I can easily sit there for hours just enjoying a simple viet coffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to befriend locals and help others find the best foods around!!
Interests
My number one reason to travel is to taste everything the world has to offer. The best way to experiencing new cultures is definitely through tasting the food. I would love to meet anyone that can offer a good place to dine in!

Music, Movies, and Books
Most recent book I've enjoyed is "Men without Women" by Haruki Murakami, highly recommend on close hitting personal relationship stories.
"Sapiens, A Brief History of Humankind" by Yuval Noah Harari. It is an amazing read if you are interested on how us, Homo Sapiens, got to where we are today starting with why Sapiens survived past the other Homo species.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scootering around in Southeast Asia
Traveling to Banff/Jasper Canada and experiencing nature. Incredible sights!! One thing I have learned about visiting Banff was how unappreciative people were of the view. Most tourists will sit on a bus for hours just to get to this location and take photos for a few minutes, just to prove the fact that they were there. It was quite saddening to think about the carbon footprints they left to just take that photo. Their photos would push forth this cycle for their friends to come visit for the photos and nothing else.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn about new cultures and the way people live. Hopefully by meeting new folks I'll be able to share my love for climbing as well as experiencing nature in itself. Currently I've gotten into acroyoga and would happy to share this activity!
