About Me

I'm very friendly and talkative, and love meeting new people. I'm a psychology student, finishing my third year here in Belgrade. I am currently volunteering with kids without parental care in two projects. I also volunteered in a red cross center for asylum seekers in Ans, Belgium where i was working with kids and also creating furniture out of palettes. I am starting a new internship in september working in an asylum center in Serbia and i went to multiple trainings in Armenia and Lithuania to work with migrants. Apart from that, I went to Uganda, Africa, to Kampala and Entebbe, where i worked in Kissyfur kindergarten and daycare centre. I went to a safari there and toured both cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and i would like to travel the whole world one day, and what better way to do it then trough meeting new friends from around the globe, speaking different languages, and learning more about different cultures. For me staying in a hotel is a waste of time, the best way to get to know a place is by living as a local, and this is the best place to find someone willing to spend time with you, take you on a city tour or maybe even to some places which are not marked on tourist maps.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many genres, mostly rock, house and pop music. I'm not really a connaisseur but listening to music relaxes me and i can't live without it. Music is on when I'm showering, studying, traveling, walking. I have no specific favorites but i do like classic movies, thrillers but i must admit i also love romantic comedies, what better way to spend a relaxing evening? I've read many books, mostly serbian and russian litterature but i've read american lit as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in the red cross centre for asylum seekers, living, sleeping and eating with them for two weeks, helping rebuild the centre and spending time with the residents, preparing them leisure activities, learning more about their cultures and their backstories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn as much as possible about the country I'm visiting and also practice or learn the language. I can also help teach some of the languages I'm fluent in and let people know more about my country of origin.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to make new friends, learn more about the hosts country and their cuture as well as sharing my own.
