ABOUT ME

I'm a former dance nomad who now lives in Berlin, Germany, teaching Lindy Hop, learning German and about specialty coffee, and exploring Berlin. I love meeting people from all over the world.
I used to live in NYC and have done all kinds of odd jobs such as hostessing at NoMad Bar, wardrobe PA for MTV, was an FRS for the Genius Bar in the 5th Ave Apple Store, etc. I used to call San Diego home, where I worked in Molecular Diagnostics. I usually travel solo but like to meet people to enjoy experiencing a city like a local, so feel free to point out all your favorite places to hang, or let’s share a drink and discover Berlin or a new city together! If I am able to I will bake you some delicious banana bread!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hosted constantly when I'm traveling, so whenever I am home I do my best to be available to host any travelers/dancers passing through, which happens a lot in Berlin. I can’t host anyone this summer, but I love meeting warm, delightful, funny new people, and we can discover the city together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm relaxed and easy to host and don't mind small spaces or unique living situations. I've been hosted by dozens of strangers who happened to be a part of the Lindy Hop dance community. Looking forward to seeing what more Couchsurfing has to offer and how I can contribute :)

Interests

I love enjoying places from a local's point of view. If I'm not dancing then I'm probably rock climbing, hiking, vintage shopping, finding the best cafes in town, and seeking out good food. I love house parties and discovering cool nightlife (everything from casual parties and local hangs, to fancy cocktail bars). I also enjoy going out in nature, relaxing, and doing fun and unique activities during the day.
What’s Lindy Hop? It’s swing dancing from the 1920s, 30's, 40's! I travel alone a great deal to attend dance camps all over the world, but I’m open-minded about what I do when I’m not dancing, and like making new friends in new cities! :)

My preferred sleeping scenario is Couch > bed > air mattress.
