About Me

I am a rhetoric and Legal Studies double major student in UC Berkeley. I am very easygoing but shy at first sight. Please do not be discouraged though. I talk and I talk a lot, so throw your questions at me, I would appreciate them and I would love to share. If you can get me to shut up, then I'd love to hear your stories as well of course :).
I was born and grew up in Vietnam, but I am now living in Berkeley and calling San Francisco my home. I have high California pride because of its diversity and richness in cultural experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduced to couchsurfing by one of my friend, and I totally love the concept. The platforms and philanthropy totally got me hooked so I have been member for a couple of years now. So far, I have been hosted by a couple of couchsurfers, and the experience has been nothing but positive. My hosts were the nicest persons I have met and I love the more local interactive. This has encouraged me a lot in getting more involved with the community.

I am so sorry that I have not been able to host anyone, with me being abroad soon after I signed up. But I promise I will get myself available as soon as I come back home. Can't wait to meet more of you all!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quite a couple of things come up in mind. It's not so much amazing but more on interesting side:
- I was bought a really fancy meal my first night in Dublin by a complete stranger who approached me on the street.
- I went white water rafting in Cairns, Australia
- I survive 1.5 months in Marseilles, France with no French with an all-French uncle.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will offer all I can, but I am very geeky about my major, so that's pretty much all I know. I am fluent in Vietnamese too if you are ever interested. I don't cook like a chef, but I won't poison you! I would be absolutely wonderful if we can cook and share recipe together.

I would like to learn anything, and by that I mean anything. I am a genuine enthusiast, and I find everything amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- Stories, stories and more stories. Not so sure if it will be interesting to you, but I will make you laugh, promise.
- Positive and totally friendly attitude. I am in my best self when I'm travelling!
- A big, genuinely happy smile.
- Childish and baby-like behavior at time (I kinda stay young forever).
- And anything else I get on the table.
