Hi you all! I'm Selene ("🌙" in Greek) and I'm from Taranto, a city in Southern Italy where I grew up (in Apulia). I moved to Bari to graduate the first time in Intercultural Mediation, then I moved to my favourite place in the world: 🚣Venice, to graduate again in kind of neurolinguistics. I think I found my self there, where I left my heart.

👉I spent the last 6 years in Milan where I'm a Professor at public school and I give a little bit of my heart to my fellows yogis (yes, I'm a Yoga teacher too!). As written in the first lines, now on my gap year around the 🌎.

I decided to be part of this amazing community🫂 because I think the world needs a little bit of me too! I'm a scuba diver, a like playing (I pretend to) guitar 🎸and love learning everything I still don't know, like macrame and handmade stuff!

I love who I love, no matter what, no matter the colour, shape and whatever!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly, it would be the only way in which I'd like to travel: to meet authentic people on my way, to SHARE ideas, stories, adventures, or just to take a little part of my fellows all around and bring it with me forever, everywhere. Of course, to give it back to the world! This is what I'd like for everyone. We all need us to be better!

My favourite book 📖 is "Manual of the Warrior of Light" by Paulo Coelho, it reminds me how damn strong I am when I forget it.

My favourite movie 🎥 is Vicky, Christina and Barcelona by Woody Allen who's one of my fav director. I like watching Netflix to my projector on the wall drinking some wine and having some pizza!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really loved someone!! Incredibile.

Ok., fine, actually I did canyoning in the Alps 🚣‍♀️, I did zip line for 1452 mt at 130 km/h speed in the Apennines, I swam very close to sharks in Bahamas 🦈, I had 17 different roommates in University time from several different countries (and c'mon, it's been a great and wired experience!)
I slept on a leather couch for 4 months in Seville 🪳 (can you imagine how lying on a leather couch at 104°F every night for so long can be? :P ). I hiked 7 hours no-stop in the mountains just to lay under the milky way 💫 in the longest day of the year. And I can give you other ideas directly chatting at the table when we meet! :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can practice yoga with you🧘🏿‍♀️, teach you to cook some homemade pasta🍝 (Apulian orecchiette, of course!), dance 🕺with you all night if needed and try to answer to impossible question we'll never answer to by the way! :) I really love learning everything about the place I visit and the wired things you want to tell me about that!

Just kidding, I'm very keen to listen, to laugh together and to share my thoughts about the little things I know about life :) and of course, we can practise Yoga together or do some Meditation! And sure, my couch will be your couch too, whenever!
