About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a wildlife management major and GSP minor at Humboldt State.
I absolutely love telling and hearing all sorts of stories! If you have experienced any crazy things during your travels I would love love love to hear all about it!
I've been to Australia, Mexico and Ecuador and I have my flight set for Thailand in May!
I have three-ish roomates, Robyn, Eeyore, Shawn and CJ... they're all really nice, love to play video/drinking games, eat/hang out, do outdoors stuff and one of them is a teddy bear hamster and another is a toy poodle.
I'm actually a super busy student since I'm a (super) senior but I loooooove meeting travelers and there are so many that pass by Humboldt and I'de like to open my home to them (as once someone did to me via couch surfing).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My French friend had convinced me to couch surf with her in our travels to Melbourne, Australia. It turned out to be a lot of fun, super rewarding, and very memorable.
I actually just recently asked my roommates if they would be ok with me opening our apartment to couch surfers, and even though they've never experienced it, they said yes and are excited to meet all you passing travelers! One of my closest friends (who is also really eager to meet you) has been to Germany and can speak German! She's also curious and might open her apartment to couch surfers as well (depending on how my experience goes, so please don't ruin it for us).
I genuinely find couchsurfing to be a lot of fun because: it's cheap, you ge to hangout with the locals, and your travel experience will be super different than if you just stayed at some hotel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, well I'm really into a bunch of different oldie sorts, I wouldn't even know what genres to list because it's a pretty wide variety.. but I love love love Otis Redding and the Pixies!
Movies... I love movies, especially scary ones because I like to get spooked and none of them ever manage to keep me up at night so I'm in the forever search for the scariest movie around... the foreign ones seem to be the most unpredictable and I rather enjoy them so if you have any recommendation then that'd be great:)
I wish I was an active reader but unfortunately books put me to sleep :( so I don't have any favorites besides The Giving Tree *sad sad face*

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef and that was pretty fun:)
