About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To open myself as well as others to new opportunities to travel and meet people from all over the world :)
ABOUT ME
Hi all!
My name is Lina. Although I am originally from Lithuania, I left this beautiful country six years for a degree in foreign university.
Moving to UK was fun. I moved again for a year, but this time a bit further away - to Thailand. This was an experience, unlike any other I had before.
Meeting different people and exploring new places have become one of my favorite things since my first move. Participating in CouchSurfing project is expanding this experience further.
PHILOSOPHY
I love to philosophize about all sorts of small insignificant things :D
What concerns life in general, the approach I've taken is to keep myself open to whatever life has to offer :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By now I have surfed, hosted, and participated in various CS gatherings and other events. During my time in North Wales I became actively and regularly involved in Chester CS community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience was in Italy with my friend, a CSfer, who introduced me to this project. The hosts were really nice to us and helped to get around the place.
Also, surfed in Thailand, but only couple of times. Thailand couch surfing experience was more about meeting travellers and listening to their amazing stories, adventures from all over the world.
Me and my boyfriend Arturas have hosted in our flat in Wrexham on a number of occasions.
Interests
I have given myself in to science's hands lately but haven't forgot my love to music. I also enjoy other arts, for example photography.

Music, Movies, and Books
When I'm on my own I listen to rock and other heavier music, but I don't mind listening to whatever my friends are listening when I'm with them.
I like watching movies just like most people. The ones I remember to enjoy are V for Vendetta, Donnie Darko, The Matrix and some others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Song kran in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I'm hoping to fill in this section in time, but the Song kran was definitely the greatest fun ever!
With a help from a friend cooked a national Lithuanian dish for 26 people (or rather 26 portions because some were still hungry) at Uni.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Slovenia, United States, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
Lithuania, Thailand, United Kingdom
