About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Follow my dreams...go for life...live out loud...live well.
ABOUT ME
I'm originally from the Southwest (California and Arizona), USA. I love to travel, explore, study, read, learn about other cultures and participate in active recreation. I am social, spiritual, and a free spirit. My home is "where I hang my hat."
PHILOSOPHY
I believe:
Each of us has God-given dreams, gifts and talents. It is our responsibility to discover and use them.
We have a purpose. We find fulfillment when we live out what we were created to do.
We have only one life to live, so we ought to live it well, without regrets of what might have been. We need to take risks and live with passion.
For my life this means living in environments that are rich with language, culture, travel, and adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed in France and Spain. I'm looking into CS groups in my area to get more involved in the community. I tell everyone I meet about how wonderful it is.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I traveled through France and Spain over the summer and stayed with a wide variety of people. Each host home warm and friendly in its own unique way. I learned a lot about the CS vision and the people involved. It is truly incredible. All good experiences.
Interests
Languages, culture, travel, people, sports, active entertainment, movies, music, dance, art, books, education, health, and my God. Basically, I am fascinated by life in all its fullness.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm mostly drawn to thought-provoking movies, science fiction and action. I tend to avoid a lot of blood and guts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
More than one: In my opinion, Tikal, in Guatemala, is amazing. Swimming in a geothermal lagoon and exploring the underwater cave behind a boiling hot waterfall was incredible.(Finca de paraiso) Roasting a marshmellow over the top of the volcano was unforgettable (Pacaya). Living in Thailand taught me about the refugee crisis, the red light district, human trafficking and the plight of abused elephants. Discovering, through CS, that there are so many good-hearted people in our world.
Teach, Learn, Share
When you go to another country, don't hide yourself in a bubble of people of your own nationality and language. Dive into the culture and just experience life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
English Spanish, travel stories, art, struggles as an budding entrepreneur, and life experiences as a single, married, divorced, mom, and very recently, as a young grandma.
