Hey all! I'm Selin and I've very recently moved to my dream city, Saint Petersburg from Istanbul, and I would love to explore the city together. I work remotely on weekdays but I'm free after work and also on weekends. I have also set a goal this year to improve my Russian, so I'd be also super happy to practice my Russian if anyone is interested!! Unfortunately I don't have space in my apartment to host anyone but I'm open to exploring the city together or chatting over a cup of coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After discovering Coachsurfing thanks to my friends Ozan and Sarah, my way of thinking about travelling completely changed. I've realized that by only sightseeing and going to the most aesthehtically beautiful and so-called''must-go'' places you can't really say that you've seen and got that country's actual feeling. To really experience that country you have to meet locals, you have to visit the off-beaten paths and it is not gonna be about feeling joy and pleasure everytime, but this is the point indeed. You have to challenge yourself to go deep into that country.
Till now, thanks to Coachsurfing I built many new and long-lasting friendships and met many locals as well as internationals. I saw beautiful houses, I got offered local food and I lived the most unforgettable experiences of my life.
