My name is Selina, I am 21 years old and I would say I am an open-minded and helpful person who has always thought about travelling and exploring new places. Therefore I am very interested in different cultures and meeting new people from around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would say couchsurfing is one of the best ways to really get to know other peoples daily lifes and to experience what might be different to your own. Its also a chance to connect with people more deeply and to constantly broaden your horizon but it’s also a good opportunity to just have some fun with different people from around the world.

Interests

I do a lot of sports and I am also very interested in health and nutrition. I love to cook at home but I also love to go out for coffee or lunch/dinner. Furthermore I like to go out with friends, in general I love spending time with the people I love, I like reading, taking pictures and listening to music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a variety of different music styles for example techno or indie but I would say that almost every type of music has got some great tracks.
Since I was a child I have always loved reading and while travelling I really enjoy reading at the beach or at some beautiful spot in the city. Two of my favorite authors are John Green and Paulo Coelho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

in general meeting so many incredibly helpul and honest people (mostly locals) while travelling through southeastasia. They are so warm-hearted and kind that you immediately feel welcomed

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn more about other peoples way of living in foreign countries. I love getting to know their habits, beliefs and views on certain things and I would also like to learn more about their local traditions (food etc.)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could probably teach some german, tell people more about my home country in general, talk about my experiences whilst travelling or have conversations about sports, my plant based diet or some deeper philosophical or spiritual topics as I am really into that at the moment
