About Me
Hey couchsurfers,
my name is Selina, I am from Germany and live in the south of Germany in the sunniest city in Germany: Freiburg. I love to try out new things, travelling and I'm interested in different topics such as politics (which I am kind of studying), cultures, languages, history. Thus, I love meeting people from all kinds of backgrounds and cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I discovered my love to travel as an exchange student 2014/15 in Alaska. It was an awesome experience and I've had so many adventures and met so many great people I would have never met if I stayed home. In 2019 I tried out workway in Spain and loved the experience. I think Couchsurfing is a great way to combine those things and I love to see the not-so-touristy site of the country. For example when I stayed for 1 1/2 months in Kathmandu, Nepal I had a much different experience than normal tourists, because I stayed there with locals and learned so much about the culture, history, language and of course ate delicious Nepalese food ( I mean, let's be honest, that's why we are all traveling)
