Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Selina and just like everyone else here I like to travel and to meet new people all over the world.
I quit my job at the end of 2023 to follow my dream: traveling to New Zealand, visiting some other countries (haven't decided which ones yet) and spending some months in Japan!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I prefer meeting people to staying in hostels. It's way more fun!
Interests
My interests are quite diverse but usually I end up enjoying the same things: horse riding, spending time with friends, watching documentaries (sometimes in French - never stop learning a language), reading fantasy books, enjoying a cup of tea, taking pictures while hiking or going for a run in the forest.
I'm quite passionate about agriculture (I was working on a farm for about a year and then I got a desk job at the Swiss Farmers' Union) and topics concerning sustainability. My other hobby is tea. I became addicted a few years ago and during my travels I‘d like to learn more about different tea cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
No question asked: I'm all about Neil Gaiman, Patrick Rotfuss, Trudi Canavan and Scott Lynch :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Japan for one year.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Swiss German, if you're interested?
I'm an avid lover of tea and I'd love to share my passion. I also like to learn more about all the different ways of drinking tea.
I'm not big into the whole cooking thing as I’m happy with simple but delicious meals. Though, I can do some Swiss traditional meals and I know some Japanese recipes. I do like to bake and try out making different cakes.
