About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live in the present, be happy in the present.

ABOUT ME

I'm probably too laid back. I don't wear make up, and I can go with the flow in almost all situations.

I'm probably too dedicated to work...

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. My silliest fantasy is that we could all live in the world together without destroying it. But I try not to think about that or I start to feel guilty about driving a car or using anything disposable - especially when I'm taking a plane to a faraway land!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even if I can't offer a room or at least a roof, I'm definitely down to meet up!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

awesome! I have hosted and surfed and just met up for drinks.

Interests

I really want to go hangliding! Otherwise, I'm a runner, biker, etc. And surprise, I like to travel ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh man. It's been a while but I guess Green Mile is still one of my favorite movies. I'm also a sucker for the story of the underdog, so Seabiscuit, etc. Lately, Now They See Us, THUG, etc... :-/

I actually haven't read any good books lately either. I'm in the middle of a few but none are catching me. I liked Lovely Bones. I liked the Outlander Series. Lot's more too...

I am super behind on music. Seriously, I can't even find my iPod, and it was loaded with music from the 90s...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

THE most amazing thing that has every happened to me was the summer I spent in Africa. I wanted to ditch my student loans and move there, without even finishing my degree.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmm. I have learned that knitting a baby blanket takes way longer than you might think. Even with big needles. I gave up on one when the baby was a year old!

Clearly not what this section is intended for but I'll have to think about this one...
