ABOUT ME

I am currently living in Melbourne, Aussie working as a financial analyst. I've spent my whole life playing soccer representing the Aussie women's soccer team. I hung up the boots at a young age as I was sick of being a starving female athlete however the experiences the game gave me are invaluable and were life changing experiences. I got to travel the world and explore so many different places and meet so many intriguing people. I conquered Athens and competed at the Olympics in 2004 My goal in life is to meet new people and immerse myself in their culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed once in Rome with an absolutely incredible host Ernesto. Changed my whole perception of couchsurfing, it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life living the Roman culture and hanging with the locals.

Interests

The human mind/behavior, well-being, sport, reading, MUSIC!! (couldn't live without it), art in any form, films, bars with old friends, bars with new friends, live gigs, coffee and cigarettes, my friends and family, traveling (of course), things I haven't tried before because they always intrigue me and so much more...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Competed at the 2004 Olympic Games and two world cups. Lived the college life in America as every Aussie student wishes to do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak Turkish and play football (Soccer) and I love to cook. One of my aspirations is to learn how to surf, sooooo if anyone would like to offer to teach me I would adorn the experience :)
