I am Selyna from South Korea :)

I want to know how the world is moving in relation to my major. It is one of the reasons why I would like to travel around the world. I believe that an experience is much better than 10 books.

I am a kind of active and adventurous person. Also very sociable, so I really love to participate in exciting events and meet some new people. This way, I can have enjoyable feeling about life, learn a lot of things, experience something unique, and meet wonderful people all over the world.

I will continue my journey to every corner of the world and everyday I am looking forward to meeting great moments and unforgettable experiences in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love traveling. I know it is good to see the great tourist attractions and many people can rest their mind and are touched by that. But I'd like to get more than that. I hope to know the place deeply. So I think people who live there are the best teacher for me to learn about it.

I've been always interested in foreign cultures so I do not hesitate to say hello first whenever there is a chance to talk with foreigners. This way, I could make a lot of foreign friends and experience their cultures indirectly.

When I go on a journey, I can see and feel their own cultures by walking around but I'd like to experience their REAL life. I'm sure I am able to do that through CS. It is always exciting to be one of them; spending time with them in their town. And of course, they can also become to know how interesting the world is!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning English and Spanish. I can speak English well, but still have to improve and as for Spanish, I'm a beginner.

I can teach you Korean if you are learning it. And also I can teach you how to snowboard. It will be one of the greatest memories to snowboard together!

I've done a lot of interesting things so far. So I would like to share my wonderful experiences with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First, I can share my fabulous memories of the places I've been to. I think indirect experience is also exciting and you can get some important tips or information about them if you have a plan to go there.

And I can give you my knowledge of Korea if you are interested in my country from history to foods. Actually I'd love to have as many people know about Korea as possible. As a way of doing this, maybe I am able to make some Korean dishes.

Lastly, you and I can cherish the happy moments we spend together. I have a mini photo print so I want to take a lot of photos with you and give them to you as a gift. We will be able to recall our great memories whenever we see this photos.
