About Me

Well, I'm in Buenos Aires at the moment, and that was decision (like... really fast) that I made trusting more in my heart than in my mind. And in two weeks I arranged everything to come here and stay for... I don't know how long. But came to enjoy and meet local people and people from all over the world.
Looking forward to travel with my backpack and my thumb up and know more about this wonderfull continent that I don't know why my heart told me to come.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because I believe is the best way to meet locals. And locals are those who know the good places, where you can have a specific food or drink, where you can see this or that tradition, and that can tell you the long stories who make a people's identity.

Interests

Well, local culture, arts in general. Love to know those small places in cities where no one goes but the locals, that when you enter you don' understand a word, now matter how much you are used too, and often have a unique smell of food and smoke and people and wine and... (not everytime the best one)
Many many interests.. Always get renewed in natural places, like waterfalls, jungles, beaches.

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot of those, and favourites are difficult to choose, but Brave New World, A Jangada de Pedra, Food for the Gods, Las Venas Abiertas de América Latina, etc... these are great titles.
In terms of watching a screen, that screen got really interesting in Samsara, Baraka, Fight Club, Pina, Mr Nobody, Snatch, God Bless America, and many more.. there are a lot of great movies and documentaries...
Music?! pff... traditional musics, electronic, jazz, Soul.. lots of it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've participated in the Build Your Own Wind Turbine Workshop, and we were 12 persons, during a week, who take raw wood and iron and transformed them in a beautifull wind Turbine (like we made the coils by hand, assembly of magnets, made the blades by hand, like natural born carpenters.. awesome) to power a house.
I've participated in the U-16 European Basketball Championship, representing Portugal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to make a rocket stove, a high efficiency stove so you can cook with wood on your balcony or house.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't know, I think share thoughts and ideas while having a glass of wine, I think are the most incredible teach and learn skills. From that share of thoughts we can go anywhere.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Greece, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, Portugal
