I'm 22 years old and I'm a student at Bilkent University and my department is Translation and Interpretation, both English and French.

I'm thrilled to be part of this amazing community. I'm a passionate cellist who loves diving into the rhythms of hip-hop and the smooth sounds of jazz. When I'm not playing music, you'll often find me with my nose in a book, enjoying solitary walks, or exploring new places.

This is my first time traveling abroad, and I'm eager to see as much of the world as I can. I'm currently volunteering with a program supported by the United Nations, specifically the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). This experience has been incredibly rewarding and has fueled my desire to connect with people from different cultures.

I'm also keen on practicing my English and French, so if you're up for a language exchange, that would be fantastic! Meeting new people and learning about their cultures is something I truly cherish.

I'm traveling with another friend of mine who is a girl too. We're both excited to make new connections and share wonderful experiences with the people we meet along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently volunteering in Portugal and for the next three weeks me and my friend (girl) will travel Barcelona (13/06/24-15/06/24),Paris( 21/06/24-22/06/24), and Madrid ( 25/06/24-29/06/24). I want to get to know people from these cities to understand their language, culture, and lifestyles, and the best way to do it is to meet with locals.

Interests

I love playing cello and listening to music, especially hip-hop, pop, and jazz. I love spending time with my friends and exploring new places. I'm also interested in getting to know other cultures and learning new information about them. And I love animals, so spending time with my cat 🐈 is my favorite thing to do 🩷

Music, Movies, and Books

I love playing classical music (especially cello 😊) but also love to listen to athor genres as well, such as hip-hop,pop and slow music and also french songs too. I usually read classical novels. About movies, even though I'm 22, I still love to watch animations they are like my comfort zone. My favorite movie is Toy Story 😍.
