ABOUT ME

i've a habit of moving. i think it reminds me to see things as though for the first time. i move to work and then when work is over, i move to move.

that said, i've broken the habit and settled in el salvador. the plan is always to pursue passions... reading, writing, art, music, surfing, wilderness, gardens, building a home... and making a living one way or another.

i'm beginning to believe that things happen for a reason, but that we create the reason--make it a fucking good one.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

someone told me about it when i first discovered solo traveling in 2006. i liked the concept. i hesitated. i joined. i've been enamored by the experiences surfing and hosting ever since.

now that i'm a bit settled, i'm happy to keep the couch karma cycling by hosting more.

Interesses

waving to strangers, riding bicycles with no hands, swimming underwater, yelling when no one else is around to hear, looking at stars and into ourselves, riding in the back of pickups, listening to the sea, going barefoot, sleeping with the sky as a roof, watching animals, tasty beer and long conversation about everything and nothing, tidepooling...
