ABOUT ME

I'm a long distance runner, avid reader, man-about-town, and trivia junkie. I'm a pub quiz host, and corporate staff/staff writer for Geeks Who Drink. I've been a contestant on Jeopardy and at the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted several people and shown them around Providence. I've Couchsurfed with people in Idaho, Montana, Montreal, and New York.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I rented a room in Copenhagen and it was one of the better experiences I've had traveling. I've hosted and stayed with people from Couchsurfing and Warmshowers and all of the experiences I've had have been overwhelmingly positive.

I've hosted groups of couchsurfers and really enjoy the overall experience. All couchsurfers share a love of travel. I've actually made a couple of good friends through the couchsurfing experience.

Music: Funk, Afrobeat, and New Wave music. Fela Kuti and New Order are my musical spirit guides.

Books: I'm starting to hate lists already. I read a lot. I think Haruki Murakami is my Japanese soulmate. I love American hardboiled detective fiction.
