About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learning about myself, what I want to do, who I want to become.
ABOUT ME
I guess I am a friendly, open-minded girl who has spent most of her life hiding in the background and now wants to come out. I always wanted to see the world around me, but was too scared to actually do it by myself. Now I am discovering new, interesting ways of living and travelling and I want to grasp as much of it as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
There is so much goodness in people, you just have to open your eyes to be able to see it...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a relative newbie at CS so I can only introduce my future plans: While still living with my parents I want to meet up with people traveling thru my city, chat with them and show them around. When I'll be living on my own I definitely wanna offer my couch and help to all travelers crossing my path.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've had only great couch surfing experience!
During my travels thru the UK I have stayed with wonderful people and met other awesome members of CS.
Jacob (Brighton)
Johannes (Portsmouth)
Andy (Portsmouth)
Joe (Buxton)
Bob (Buxton)
During the summer when parents are on vacation I and my friend like to use this opportunity to even host. So far we've had Madeline from Canada/USA and Ria and Laura from Switzerland.
When I have my own living I am looking forward to hosting interesting people from all over the world.
Interests
I love to do tons of things, sometimes not knowing what to pick first. I'm a big fan of all kinds of sports. Throughout my life I have tried countless different ones unable to decide what to stick with. I am a mountain child, so I do love skiing. During my stay in the USA I had to try some "local" sports so I picked basketball and softball.
We have one really interesting tradition in the Czech Republic - ballroom dancing lessons. Most teenagers go at the age of 16 - 18 to a dancing school, where they have to dress smart, learn etiquette and how to dance. I really enjoyed mine and even thought about dancing professionally, because I fell in love with ballroom dancing.
A few years ago I went to a yoga lesson for the first time and must recommend it to everybody! I hope I'll never stop doing it, because it's the perfect way how to keep my body healthy and happy and make sure it's gonna survive till retirement. I also regularly meet with friends to play volleyball.
Apart from sports I love reading books, watching movies or just chatting with friends and interesting people. I also like creative activities. I make animals, decorations and all kinds of jewelery from beads, I'm quite interested in glass painting and since I was a kid I've been doing macrame.
There is always something new that catches my attention and I get passionate about, so I am looking forward to possibly finding a new hobby on my travels via CouchSurfing ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One year at summer camp we prepared a night game for the kids that included action, excitement and most of all monsters. At one point the other leaders started shouting: "Its a trap! Run!" and all the kids screamed and raced back to the camp. I ran together with them and witnessed how caught up in it they were! Even though it was just a game all of them believed it at that moment and considered the monsters real. It was amazing, seeing how much thrilled it got them and realizing that it doesn't take too much to create a memorable experience for others :-).
Teach, Learn, Share
At home I sometimes tutor English or I teach kids at our camp how to do all kinds of art. I could totally show you some exercises from yoga or how to play volleyball. I am open to share almost anything (excluding my boyfriend and toothbrush), so don't be afraid to ask :-)
I'd like to learn how to become more laid back and adaptable thanks to CS and traveling. I generally like learning new things.
