Overview
About Me
I tend to find interest in the littlest details.
Also, I am a big fan of travelling although I haven't gotten the chance to explore as much of the world as I would've liked to.
Some of the most important topics in my life are sustainability and ethical treatment of animals. I try to be relatively open and I like to see things in different lights. If you think we are arguing, maybe we are just having a heated discussion :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I know that it can be hard to find the money for a place to stay at while travelling. I love helping other people out and I also believe this is a great way to meet people. Plus it's always nice to see a city from a local's perspective and not just go to the spots that a travel guide will lead you to. I know Gießen isn't the most desirable city for one to visit when travelling through Germany but nevertheless, I think it's a great city, considering we have the highest student density in all of Germany ;)
Unfortunately, I am not really able to host right now as my apartment is rather small and the only realistic place to sleep in is my bed... Which I am not fully willing to share with strangers.
Interests
I spend a lot of my free time engaging in foodsharing where the main goal is to reduce the amounts of edible food being thrown away, may it be by collecting from supermarkets and bakeries or just sharing within a community.
When I'm not doing that I am probably looking up interesting things on the internet regarding nutrition and the environment and links between those two main subjects.
I also like to indulge in a lot of music and create emotional attachment to all the songs before I can move on to the next album, which is also probably why it takes me a long time to expand my library since I want to know all of them in and out.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: progressive rock, psychedelic rock, alternative rock, post-hardcore, metalcore, indie
Books: recently read The Poppy War trilogy and I am still shook. Such a great series if you are interested in fantasy and recent Chinese history.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Shaved my hair that was down to my thighs and donated it to kids with cancer.
Teach, Learn, Share
A lot of opinions on how to make the world a better place through the little changes in life and behaviour. It is necessary to question the way we do things and maybe reconsider that the way we've always been doing it doesn't always justify reluctance in change.
