Music, as any art, is good when it evokes any sort of feelings.
Two books I can recommend for a broad understanding of human nature: Telling Lies by Paul Ekman and Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I've visited a public lecture about neurophisiological, genetical and epigenetical aspects of memory and it inlfuenced me so much that I narrated it with presentation to my good friend as a birthday gift and he said it was best gift ever.
