I'M A BACKPACKER!

Hi, guys! my name is Yuna from Seoul, Korea.
I'm very positive, challenging and happy girl! I always laughing :) haha
I’m a student majoring in Science Education, especially physics and general science.

I like reading books and I often go to walk in the midnight. Also, I like traveling around the world and leisure sports.

And then, I also have travel plans in this year. I bought a one-way ticket from Korea to Mongolia. I'll go Gobi desert and then move on to Russia.

I’ll start my travel in Russia from Irkutsk to Moscow by Siberian train. I want to see the deepest lake in the world ‘Baikal’. Saint Petersburg is my last destination of Russia travel, and then I’ll move on to the Northern Europe.

I have to choose either by flying or by walking. Anyway, I’ll go down through Germany and France to Southern Europe. After North Africa, the end of my travel would be in Eastern Europe and Turkey.

Also, I’m planning to search for information about personal volunteering. Visiting each country’s school, I want to see their real school life. Because I want to know what is the common and different things compare with Korean education. I want to bring good things and apply it to my class appropriately.

Anyway, at first, I feel a bit shy of strangers. but actually I’m very outgoing person. I’m curious about you guys. Let’s get to know each other. I feel like we could be good friends! Let’s hang out someday. haha :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m challenging, positive, and active person. So, through this courchsurfing, I want to meet many people and make friends. I’m very curious about the world. Meeting various people, I want to know their life, thought, and cultures.

Of course, I’m good at cooking. I’m sure that making each country’s food and sharing is the best way to exchange culture.

I want to melt in the people in that culture and country. In the process, previously thought and prejudice that I have can be broken completely. But, I want to understand the differences and respect.

After all, culture is a set of think of the people who make up the group. Therefore, I’m sure if I understood the difference of culture, eventually I become deeper understanding of the person.

I hope these experiences will be helpful for me to better understand my students when I become a teacher. So, I want to do courchsurfing. haha :)

Interests

mostly love travel, cooking, beer!! oh I love it haha:) but I hate drunk. I just love at that moment. and also, I like party, take photos.

usually like watching drama and movies, reading book, hang out with friends, walk, go to park, people, different culture, education, cup of tea with talk... lots of things!!!

recently, I buy a new camera and want to be a great photographer, but it's not easy haha. oh! I prepare cooking such as korean foods for my host! haha :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like leisure sports. I got into “Sea-leisure sport tour” when I was in Pattaya.
At that time, I’d fallen into leisure sports. I did Para-sailing, Jet skiing, banana boating, sea-walking and snorkeling.

I like something active and thrilling sports. I couldn’t explain my feeling when I was looking down the sea flying the sky.

Also, jet skiing was amazing. I couldn’t control the speed. It repeated fast and slow changing its direction. I cut across the water. Watching the view that has no boundary between the sky and the sea, I felt damn excited, a bit scary though
haha :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can take a picture for my host. and cook delicious food together. :)

I can hang out, talking all day, go to park with delicious food, go for a walk near your house, go hang out in the suburbs, watching movies, going to see night view, go market.... whatever you want!! haha:)
