Hi guys,

my name is Josef, nickname is Seppi. Im 22 years old and live up in the mountains in Garmisch - Partenkirchen, south of munich, on the border to austria.

I'm currently studying Aerospace Engineering in Stuttgart.

Im very easy to go along with, im comfortable to say i can adapt to anything that comes my way.

I got into the Backpacking and travel scene recently and im setting up my first steps as a traveller.
Some years ago i could have never imagined travelling the world alone, with a backpack only. After my first trip last year to Bali (i know, pretty standard :D ), im now up to explore more of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im keen to meet local people who know the area they live in and hope they can give me some insight tips that you may never see when staying in a Hostel / Hotel.

I like to get in touch with local people, traditions and cultures.

Interests

Of course, travelling :)
Im also an advanced open water diver now, with more than 100 dives logged. Im up to explore new dive sites around the world.
Growing up in the alps, im of course into hiking and that stuff.
Additionally im a MMA and Fitness - enthusiast.
Im also a certified Snowboard Teacher for 4 years now in my local area.
I like to visit lonely and relaxing places where no tourist has ever been.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was the first one to spot a whaleshark at a dive resort which was open for more than five years before i went there. Was pretty epic *g*
