ABOUT ME
I'm a happy, easy going, laughing adventurer. I'm working my way through a Biology degree and travelling, volunteering, interning, and working in between. I grew up in Newfoundland, study in Ontario, and have just returned from living in East Africa. I love books, coffee, wine, music, running, writing, and people.
PHILOSOPHY
If you are irritated by every rub, how will you ever get polished?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been couch surfing off and on for four years, and unfortunately haven't had a couch in between to host surfers (university residence, not so spacious), but can't wait to do so!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All over the world and all absolutely positive - Austria, Ethiopia, France, Switzerland to name a few. Lots of little things stick out: learning to make crepes in Paris, driving through the alps and celebrating the national Swiss holiday with my Swiss hosts, experiencing traditional Ethiopian food and dance in Addis.. the trips were so much more special because of my CS experiences.
Interests
Turning my cell phone off, connecting with people, food, travelling, laughing, reading, writing, dancing, espresso, red wine, beer, rainstorms, thunderstorms, learning, literature, the mountains, biology, spirituality, music..

Teach, Learn, Share
Travel on your own at least once in your life. What you learn about yourself, about your capabilities, your limits, your perception of the world..is amazing. The answers to what you'll choose to do and see, where you'll go and how you'll get there when there's no one to influence your choices could amaze you
