Overview
About Me
I'm originally from the wide prairies of Kansas, but have spent time in San Francisco nearly every year of my life, and am very happy to be living here now. SF is a beautiful and magical city. I love learning about its history and hidden landscapes. The best way to get to know SF is to walk. There are some hidden trails in the hills.
Before I came here, I spent several years studying rocky grasslands in the mysterious ancient hills of the Missouri Ozarks, but I've lived on the west coast most of my adult life. I did my undergrad at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA and then worked as a field botanist all over Oregon and California.
I'm a kind-hearted, mellow person who loves plants. I'm very social and make friends easily.
I love the culture and stimulation of the city, but need time in nature to balance it out.
