I'm 21 years old, currently living in Istanbul and studying in Ankara. Living abroad, I grew up in international schools which is where I met friends from all over the world. I kind of missed that multicultural atmosphere when I moved back to my home country and thats why I love meeting foreigners. Now I'm currently studying literature and also media in university. 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm very new on couchsurfing so I dont know what I will get from it. I really like the idea of travelling to a country and meeting the locals. It sounds really nice to have a homey place to say while making a new friend instead of staying at a boring hotel and meeting no one. The best way to know the culture is not through just museums but by meeting people and thats what I hope to experience.

My greatest passions in life are travelling the world, learning new languages and meeting new people from different cultures but with similar interests. I also love studying literature, ancient history, archaeology and also film history. My dream is to become a film screenwriter or director one day. If that fails I want to teach in college. I love reading books, writing, and experimenting with cooking. I'm not a very sportsy person usually but I have always loved playing tennis since I was young. I'm not perfect in any hobby but I'm always trying new things. Music is also another passion of mine. One of the best things about travelling is sitting in the streets at night and listening to street musicians play. I dont have a favourite genre of music because I enjoy various types of music from new age to metallica and from arctic monkeys to taylor swift. Basically anything haha.
