About Me

Half Romanian, a quarter German and the other Hungarian leads to the roots of where I come from.

I'm a traveller at heart but for now I find my place in Bordeaux, France.

Let's chat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people, hear their life stories, share ideas, get inspired and travel to countries where I can see the beauty of living as a local in different places.

Interests

I enjoy many of the things life has to offer us. Among them I take pleasure in exploring new countries and new cultures just as you.

Having a good conversation with someone coming from a different culture than you can make you aware of other perspectives on life. These kind of encounters leave a mark on us whether we are aware of it or not and hence, transform who we are as people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wise, I enjoy a wide range of genres. From classical and jazz to indie, rock and electronic.

Movies, yes movies... I am a big fan of them! I know plenty of good ones if you need a recommendation - > Richard Linklater films (Waking Life, Bernie, Boyhood, the Before trilogy), The Man From Earth, Being John Malkovich, etc.

Lastly, books. Siddhartha, Steppenwolf (Herman Hesse), Brave New World, The Doors of Perception (Aldous Huxley), Food of the Gods (Terence McKenna), On the Road (Jack Kerouac), Walden, Civil Disobedience (Henri David Thoreau), Ishmael (Daniel Quinn), The World Without Us (Alan Weiman), 1984 (George Orwell), The Time Traveler's Wife (Audrey Niffenegger), + many more :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Solo skydived several times
-Bungee jumped
-Climbed and descended the highest peak in the Romanian Carpathian mountains in one day (16 hours in total)
-Hitchhiked from Anchorage, Alaska to Cancun, Mexico
-Travelled 7000 km by motorcycle

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to appreciate the simple things in life, how to live more in the moment and see the brighter side in every situation.

Besides this I could teach you Romanian words and phrases, how to slackline and play chess.

Sharing wise, I'm all about that. I really enjoy imparting stories and time while possibly showing you a bit of Bordeaux.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer stories, philosophical discussions and positive vibes :)
