Hi there!
My name is Sergei (or go with Jay)
I grew up in a small city near Murmansk. That's the biggest city above the polar circle. So yeah, I have seen the aurora/polar lights many times (I don't know why that's such a popular question 😂)
Then I moved to Saint Petersburg. I got my degree and worked as a civil engineer for a few years before I went to China to work as an ESL teacher. But COVID ruined everything after 1+ year of my being there, so I switched to IT to keep the opportunity of working abroad.

Initially, I used this app to catch up with travelers in my city to show them Saint Petersburg and practice English. I hosted and was hosted as well.

These days I'm here to catch up with other CS'rs when traveling or in a place I'm currently staying at.

I'm usually up for almost anything heh
I enjoy playing various sports or attending local events, especially when it comes to martial arts. I've been practicing Thai boxing for a few years myself. I also enjoy activities like billiards, ice skating, diving, and so on. Since I'm living in Thailand now, I'm also interested in learning the Thai language and hope to learn more Chinese someday.
Also, I used to play in a band back in Russia. Some death/thrash metal 🎸🎸🎸 So let's chat about it or go to a local metal/punk show🤘

I'm usually up for a drink at a bar unless there is no noise or that is a nightclub. Way too boring and loud for me.
